Goldsworth Park Lake

The lake is situated just outside Woking and is one of the largest lakes around. There's plenty to do for all the family and boasts a great play area for children including climbing walls, swings and zip wire.

When the sun's shining there's nothing better than relaxing for a day's fishing! The lake even boasts having a model yacht club which sails on Friday afternoon's and Sunday's (weather permitting).

Goldsworth Park Lake has a unique shape to it and this photo shows "The island", which isn't an island at all, but a headland that protrudes into the middle of the lake giving fishermen access to the deeper areas.

The types of fish you can expect to catch here are: Bream, Tench, Carp and Pike.

Local Fishermen are all extremely friendly and are only too pleased to help out should you be new to Fishing.

There is a walk all around the lake and about half way round you can cut through to a Pub, ASDA's, Chemist and Church. On hot days a welcome ice cream break is a must!
