The lake is situated just outside Woking and is one of the largest lakes around. There's plenty to do for all the family and boasts a great play area for children including climbing walls, swings and zip wire.
When the sun's shining there's nothing better than relaxing for a day's fishing! The lake even boasts having a model yacht club which sails on Friday afternoon's and Sunday's (weather permitting).

Goldsworth Park Lake has a unique shape to it and this photo shows "The island", which isn't an island at all, but a headland that protrudes into the middle of the lake giving fishermen access to the deeper areas. |

The types of fish you can expect to catch here are: Bream, Tench, Carp and Pike.
Local Fishermen are all extremely friendly and are only too pleased to help out should you be new to Fishing.

There is a walk all around the lake and about half way round you can cut through to a Pub, ASDA's, Chemist and Church. On hot days a welcome ice cream break is a must!
Season Ticket details: Annual season tickets are priced at £52 for adults (£26 for adult Key Status and Concession card holders) and £26 for juniors (£13.00 for junior Key Status and Concession card holders). The annual ticket runs from 1 April to 31 March, however from 1 October you can purchase a six month season ticket for £26 (£13 for Key Status and Concession card holders).

Fishing permits are obtained from one of the bailiffs who patrol the lake on a daily basis.
Day permits are priced at £7.50 for adults and £4.25 for juniors (or £3.75 for Key Status card holders and £3.00 for Key Concession card holders).
The demand is high for night permits and there are few available. To be eligible for a night permit you must be a season ticket holder.
Night permits are priced at £23.50

There is a Community Centre (often used for Weddings) and a large children's play area with a climbing wall which the elder children can enjoy.
There are also a number of football pitches so all the family can enjoy the large green spaces.

The play area has modern swings, and climbing aparatus with a safe soft ground ensuring your kids stay safe.
